Abstract

40 GHz-spaced 25 × 42.7Gbit/s transmission was successfully conducted over 320km by using EDFA repeaters, asymmetrically filtered CS-RZ signal, an OTDM receiver and a novel spectral crosstalk suppressor based on the optical gating of dispersively stretched signal.
