Abstract

We have developed 1.3-m, 50-Gbit/s EADFB lasers for future 400Gbit Ethernet. 10-and 40-km SMF transmission with clear eye openings over 14-nm wavelength range under 50-Gbit/s operation are demonstrated for the first time.
