160 GHz reciprocating optical modulator using uniform fiber Bragg gratings

Abstract

We demonstrated stable 160 GHz clock signal generation, by using a reciprocating optical modulator with uniform fiber Bragg gratings having narrow passbands adjacent to reflection bands, which enables effective generation of high-order sideband components.
