44.8-Gbaud DP-QPSK transmission over 3-km endlessly single-mode holey fiber

Abstract

We demonstrate 44.8-Gbaud DP-QPSK transmission over 3-km endlessly single-mode holey fiber with digital coherent detection. Error-free operation can be performed with equalization of frequency responses by a digital signal processing in the receiver side.
