7 x 463-Gbit/s Optical OFDM transmission at 100-GHz WDM spacing over 960 km of SSMF with EDFA-only amplification

Abstract

We have demonstrated 7 x 463-Gbit/s Optical OFDM transmission over 960 km of SSMF with EDFA-only amplification at 100-GHz WDM spacing. It is confirmed that the intrachannel penalty is dominant compared to inter-channel penalty.
