Abstract
Recently, in the deregulation process, the fast evaluation ATC of tie-lines has become more important from the viewpoint of the effective use of networks. Therefore, we propose an efficient method for calculating ATC with transient stability constraints. In this paper, we first focus our attention on a characteristic of ATC and reduce calculation time drastically by using it. Secondly, we propose a new index for finding critical cases quickly using transient energy functions. We confirm the validity of the proposed approach by running simulations using an IEEJ EAST 10 machine 47 bus system.
