Abstract

We present the design concept of a campus network based on 60 GHz wireless links suitable for distance learning application and propose a new voice objective measurement method of Voice over IP (VoIP). A practical and convenient network design method for the 60 GHz wireless campus LAN is outlined. For the voice quality measurements a subjective evaluation by human Mean Opinion Score (MOS) is considered the best evaluation, although it has its drawbacks including costs and time for arranging such tests. A new objective measurement method is presented which simplifies the measurement for voice quality and the validity of the proposed method is confirmed by experiments.
