Abstract
Energy is a vital component towards developing economic and social growth in a country. For a developing country, a comprehensive energy policy that provides a long-term, high quality and secure energy supply network is essential. Climate change and fuel depletion leads to the formation of energy policies that are more environmentally friendly and varied to include the introduction of alternative forms of energy like renewable energy and nuclear energy. This paper studies the current energy scenarios for three ASEAN NICs.
