N2 - In this paper, we consider a color space conversion method from BT.709 used for current HDTV (High Definition Television) broadcast to BT.2020 that will be used for UHDTV (Ultra HDTV) broadcast, with lost color information restoration. Our method anisotropically diffuses BT.709 chromaticities considering the direction to the original chromaticities in BT.2020 color space. With this method and BT.709 images, we obtained BT.2020 images that had chromaticities out of BT.709 color gamut.
