Abstract

High-speed particles and biomolecules sorter using thermoreversible gelation polymer and 3-dimensional sheath flow system was realized. The sol-gel transfer induced by the focused IR laser was used in this system. Double-deck structure made of PDMS and glass was adopted to realize the 3-dimensional sheath flow. High-speed sorting of about 3 ms and accurate sorting of 106 events were obtained.
