Advanced LiNbO3 modulation

Abstract

We describe integrated optical modulators based on LiNbO3 waveguide device technologies, which can be applicable for advanced modulation formats. Over 100 Gb/s transmission can be acheived by differential quadrature-phase-shift-keying (DQPSK).
