Abstract
Polypyrrole-coated carbon particles containing various metal ions as active sites were prepared and evaluated as an electrocatalyst for the reduction of oxygen at a rotating disk electrode. Catalytic activity of the particle was precisely determined by electroanalytical methods. Possibility of the Co-Pd catalyst as cathode materials for fuel cells was investigated.
