N2 - We found anomalous relaxation behaviors in a two-dimensional magnet La5Mo4O16, in a pure crystalline form in both the resistivity and magnetization, whose characteristics are similar to those of disordered materials. We also found that such anomalous relaxation behaviors disappear in the impurity-doped sample. We propose a possible scenario for the relaxation behavior that the charge rearrangement of Mo4+ and Mo5+ causes a change in the interlayer magnetic interaction in this compound.
