    Abstract

    Mg:LiNbO<inf>3</inf>-based adhered-ridge waveguide demonstrates narrow-band SHG with 4<sup>th</sup> order backward quasi-phase matching. Precise measurement was achieved with narrow-band CW diode laser due to efficient BSHG in the ridge waveguide.
