Abstract
A series-series compensated circuit of the wireless power transmission system has characteristics of increasing charging power during coil misalignment. In order to limit the increasing charging power and to meet the capacity of onboard power converter, this study proposes a constant voltage control with power reference method. The charging power is controlled by adjusting duty ratio of the onboard DC/DC converter by using onboard information only. A 300 kW simulation system for actual railway vehicle application have been conducted to verify the proposed control method.
