Compact and low power operation thermo-optic MMI-based polymer photonic switch

    Abstract

    We demonstrate a compact polymer-based photonic switch with low power operation of 9mW. This compact polymer switch exhibits a low switching crosstalk of -23dB with an MMI device length of 510μm.
