This chapter concludes the edited volume by summarising the prospects for China-Japan cooperation in the areas of first, leadership; second, free trade; third, international rules; fourth, development finance; fifth, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); sixth, currency cooperation; seventh, currency internationalisation; and eighth, monetary integration.
