Conjugated-Paired Radio-on-Fiber transmission scheme highly tolerant against optical fiber nonlinearity

Abstract

We propose and investigate Conjugated-Paired Radio-on-Fiber (C-RoF) transmission, which shows high tolerance against optical nonlinearity in optical fiber links, aiming for achieving higher RF link gain. It is shown that the nonlinear distortion is cancelled out by the C-RoF technique.
