Abstract

A new reconstruction algorithm was developed to obtain the depth distribution of absorption coefficient from the backscattered temporal point spread function (TPSF) to realize optical CT. The technique was based on the time-resolved measurement and the solution of linear equations. The integral operation of TPSF was performed to determine the coefficients in the linear equations and observed to be stable against the measurement noise and simulation errors.
