Abstract
The article describes the design of a new water-heater having advantages over the usual water-heater. Its operating principle is based on that of a heat pipe which is a high performance heat transfer device which can transport heat at high rates over long distances with a very small temperature difference. Thus it was named the HP water-heater. The experimental results show that the HP water-heater has several advantages in comparison with a usual water-heater.
