Development of network digital camera and its performance evaluation

Abstract

This paper first describes the architecture of the Network Digital Camera. Then, a real-time streaming system using the Network Digital Camera, an Access Point (AP) and a Digital Photo Album is proposed and evaluated. The evaluation is based on the characteristics of packet transmission time, which depends on two varying parameters, namely, the condition and population of the wireless environment.
