Abstract

The committee was started in January 1981. The principal subjects of the investigation are an equivalency of beta / gamma and n/ gamma radiation on insulating materials, complete methodology on the qualification testing for wires and cables used in a nuclear power plant, a proposal of a standard method for life expectancy, a relation between a fire-resistant and a radiation resistant property, and particle accelerators and their applications. Eight meetings including small working group meetings were held till July 1981. In these meetings the committee have investigated mainly on the equivalency of beta / gamma and n/ gamma and the accelerators.
