Abstract

It is generally accepted that platelet is one of the important factors in blood coagulability, and many studies have reported that short strenuous exercise would increase platelet count and function. However, we have been unable to find any studies on such changes during the course of graded exercise. In the present study, therefore, we investigated the changes in platelet count and function during three different graded exercise on a bicycle ergometer.
