Elucidation of the Degradation Behavior of Silicone Rubber under Adverse Environments

Abstract

Severe aging treatments were given to silicone rubber (SiR), to clarify its behavior under adverse environments. As a result, it was found that SiR becomes more resistive to exposure to high-Temperature water vapor if gamma-rays of a proper dose were irradiated in advance.
