Evaluation of hair displacement in ELF electric field exposure

Abstract

For the study of the biological effects of ELF electric fields, the displacement of a hair exposed in the field was evaluated. In a theoretical study, the formulas for the electric force and the displacement were obtained. It was demonstrated that a 450 kV/m field can move a hair an observable amount.
