N2 - Radiation detectors composed of lead-zirconate-titanate (PZT) were studied by directly irradiating them with a 400 MeV/n xenon beam. Fourier analysis revealed that frequency components of the output signal obtained from the detectors explicitly depended on the beam pulse duration. The sensitivity of the multilayered detector was discussed in comparison with that of a single-layered detector.
