Abstract
In order to predict the fuel clad temperature during BWR LOCA, precise knowledge for heat transfer is needed. Measurement of heat transfer coefficient was made with the use of a test loop capable of producing the same coolant condition as supposed to be encountered during BWR LOCA. This paper discusses the applicability of Schorock-Grossman equation for Coast-down Period and Modified Bromley equation for Window Period.
