Abstract

In this study, the operation of dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS) with variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems was varied, and indoor environment measurements, questionnaire surveys, and electric power consumption analysis were performed to consider the effect that operation methods of multi-split air conditioning systems have on indoor environmental quality and electric power consumption. As a result, it was confirmed that the operation of an air-conditioning system generally did not affect the indoor environmental quality and the operating balance of indoor-air conditioning systems and outdoor-air conditioning systems, which reduces electric power consumption depends on the outdoor temperature and relative humidity.
