Abstract

Field measurements were conducted to identify the energy performance in accordance with the occupants' visual comfort in a glazed office building in Tokyo. The measurements were conducted in three seasons in 2004. Outside illuminance, vertical illuminance on window surface and the output of ceiling luminaire were measured. Also questionnaire survey on the occupants' visual environment was conducted. The results showed that the blinds were not operated, and the blind condition had become "shielded" as time passes. About the south side, the output ceiling luminaire in December was higher than that of an August in spite of the daylighting in December was lower than that in August.
