Abstract

This paper describes work on fabricating a film with a specific dependency on certain transverse magnetic properties by controlling the density of the complexing agent in the electroless plating bath. It was found that the dependence of magnetic properties on the film thickness and the orientation at inital deposition can be regulated by controlling the bath compositions. The conclusion is that this kind of change in magnetic properties caused by inequality with respect to the film thickness direction in the microstructure must be taken into consideration when designing media.
