Finite Temperature Properties of 4He by the Quantum Monte Carlo Method

Abstract

Pressure-density and energy-density isotherms of 4He are obtained at temperatures higher than 4K and at densities lower than 0.05 mol/cm3 by applying path-integral Monte Carlo method to a system with Lennard-Jones 12-6 potential. Radial distribution function is also calculated. The results agree quantitatively with experimental data of 4He.
