Abstract

The pursuit of the medical robustness is achievement of "Even if a medical staff and an individual medical device cause trouble, it does not become it at risk as the entire system" To achieve medical robustness, the following five items are important: micro- manipulation, minimally invasive surgery/precise management/targeted therapy, information technology (visualization and sharing of medical information/strategy/decision making supporting system), integration between intraoperative diagnosis and treatments, quality of therapy (QOT). Especially, visualization and sharing of information between academy and industry are bases of a medical safety and robustness with speed and innovation.
