Abstract

With optical time-division-multiplexing and electronic time-division- demultiplexing (OMED), we experimentally demonstrate the generation and detection of 22.4-GBd/s (2xOTDM) 64QAM and investigate the system sensitivities against both the power imbalance and timing offset between OTDM tributaries.
