Abstract

We have developed a high-conversion-gain analog photo receiver for millimeter-wave radio-over-fiber applications. The performance was tested with an optical back-to-back configuration at a symbol rate of 1.76-2.2 Gbaud in π/2-shift BPSK and 16-QAM at a single carrier frequency of 32 GHz.
