Abstract

A high-speed facsimile apparatus for satellite communication circuit has been studied, with particular stress laid on the recording system and the control procedure. The trially developed facsimile apparatus can transmit an ISO A4 size document in about 3 seconds at a transmission rate of 1. 536 Mb/s. It also can transmit a picture having gray levels.
