Abstract

Hole-transporting nitroxide radicals substituted with an aryl amine moiety, 1, 2 and 3, were synthesized. The nitroxide radicals dispersed in polycarbonate binder exhibited effective hole-transporting property. Partially oxidization of hole-transporting radicals with nitrosonium cation facilitated hole-injection and transporting properity in amorphous state. Temperature dependence of current density-voltage characteristics will be also discussed.
