Abstract

We describe ultra-wideband radio-wave generation techniques using an optical frequency-shift-keying modulator consisting of two sub Mach-Zehnder (MZ) structures embedded In a main MZ structure. The modulator can achieve high-speed frequency control and high extinction-ratio.
