Abstract

The electric field around a living man was measured by an optical technique for the evaluation of field exposure on a human body. Using a sensor with an electro-optical effect, the measurement under AC power lines (190kV, 10m in height) was performed in a transformer substation. The electric field was measured with a living man in different conditions, such as in grounded/ungrounded cases.
