Abstract

The research on the effect of irradiation on the electrical properties in polymeric insulators is important when these insulators are used in the space or nuclear power plants. The present paper discusses space charge formation characteristics, based on the space charge distribution measured by the pulsed electroacoustic method, in low density polyethylene irradiated by low-dose γ rays.
