N2 - Gauge theories with spontaneously broken symmetries give rise to a cosmological phase transition of a vacuum. We show that if the phase transition is strongly of first order, such gauge theories combined with general relativity yield a surprising prediction; although the Creator might have made a unitary universe, many mini-universe are produced sequentially afterward as a result of the phase transition.
