New evaluation method of crosstalk penalty for PAM4 signals

Abstract

A new method for estimating crosstalk penalty in 4-level pulse amplitude-modulated signals, based on the bit error rate and SNR, is proposed. The method can potentially halve the measurement time of crosstalk penalty.
