Abstract
In this paper the progress of lead hydrometallurgy is discussed based on the literatures. A brief summary of the chemical fundamentals of lead processing in amine and chloride solutions are also given as well as three process flowsheets for lead recovery by hydrometallurgical method such as the U.S.B.M, Minemet, and Dextex processes. Process comparations are also discussed.
