Abstract

A design method of an N‐way sectorial hybrid power divider is described, using the boundary element method (BEM). Scattering parameters and current density distribution on the sectorial part are obtained by BEM analysis. Isolation among output ports is much improved by putting a resistive slot in the sectorial part and resistive sheets between the adjacent output lines. The design method is verified by the six‐way power divider, which has been developed in our laboratory. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
