Abstract

The behavior of fluxon-antifluxon collision is experimentally investigated, using a direct measurement system on a fluxon waveform. The experiment shows the increase in propagation delay time due to a collision. This result, which is contradictory to the free soliton theory, can be qualitatively explained as the effect of dissipation.
