Abstract

In this feasibility study, we designed and implemented an ultrasonic obstacle detecting system, which is expected to be fixed on the vehicle and used for collision safeguard. While a vehicle under high speed, any accident will lead to a catastrophe. This system can forecast the accident before collision happens and earn precious time for the vehicle safeguard system, such as airbag system, ABS system, to work before collision.
