Abstract

In this paper, for the first time, we experimentally investigate OpenFlow-based reliable service provisioning and dynamic service differentiation in IP/DWDM multi-layer optical networks. All the solutions are experimentally demonstrated on a real testbed with both control and data planes, verifying their overall feasibility and efficiency, and quantitatively evaluating their performance.
