Overview of the Kansei system

    Abstract

    The current paper presents an overview of the Kansei system. The primary purpose of this paper is to construct a framework of the Kansei system. It is shown that the Kansei system consists of four quadrants that correspond to Kansei expression theory, Kansei recognition theory, and cognitive science and modelling. Also a survey of the paper in each area is given to realize the framework. Therefore the objective of this paper is to discuss the basic concepts and methods of the system and to provide a framework for future Kansei-oriented research.
