N2 - Transmission of 3GPP LTE signal over a seamlessly integrated radio-over-fiber and millimeter-wave wireless link is theoretically analyzed and experimentally demonstrated. We successfully transmitted and demodulated standard LTE eNB conformance test signals using QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM modulation format for user data over the proposed system. The measured EVM is well under the required limit defined for the test signals, showing the potential to use the link as a high capacity backhauling system for high speed mobile networks using small cells and/or high carrier frequency at millimeter-wave.
