Abstract

1.026-THz signal generated by an optical frequency comb generator is evaluated on its phase noise characteristics. A multi-level signal transmission by a photonics-based 1-THz radio transmitter is also evaluated with QPSK and 16QAM signals designed for uplink in the LTE mobile communications.
