Abstract

We propose a novel photo-electronic oscillator for frequency comb generation. Asymmetric-filtered deeply phase-modulated signal is fed back to a modulation electrode. By self-oscillating operation of the photo-electronic oscillator, optical frequency comb signal is generated.
